Our recruitment of key research and teaching staff has been instrumental in the growing popularity of our embedded master's programme in International Fashion Marketing.
Talented and ambitious students from around the world can learn about all aspects of the global fashion industry from leading fashion marketing academics and fashion industry guest speakers, including George Davies.
Our students come from a variety of backgrounds with many entering the programme having studied design or textile technology at undergraduate level. Some have studied management and have decided to specialise in fashion as a route into the industry, others come from a retail background and are looking to make the transition to a head office career in buying, merchandising or marketing.
Our graduates find employment in a variety of roles in the international fashion industry; from retail management to head office functions, such as buying or merchandising in large retailers including Arcadia, House of Fraser, Harvey Nichols, ASOS and Net-a-Porter, as well as smaller independents, while others decide to set up their own businesses such as Adele Crombie at ALC. They are well regarded by employers within the sector for the high level of subject specific knowledge they have gained, along with strong interpersonal skills developed during their course.
