Who are we?

The project is funded by the Scottish Institute for Remanufacturing, and led by Heriot Watt University in collaboration with CCL North and Menzies Distribution.

Our WEEE collection scheme is part of a remanufacturing and reverse logistics project. The scheme aims to increase the reuse and recycling rate of small WEEE by providing local communities with convenient drop off points for their unwanted small electrical items at local convenience stores. It is hoped that the quality of returned WEEE will allow more reuse and recycling activities to take place and reduce the amount of WEEE going to landfill.
